Tie-dying fun
These are Riya's t-shirts. One is 18mth and the other is 3T. Got them for $1 each. :D
This one is mine but I don't like how it turned out. Not sure if it's because it's a pink shirt instead of the recommended white. Oh well, I guess I'll use it for home use and when I need to color my hair.

More swaps!
- Go Green and Recycle swap
- A week of Onesies swap
- Happy Homemaker swap
I'm having SO much of fun participating in these swaps. I would write about what I'm making for these swaps and post pictures, but as of now, I haven't decided if I want to share this blog with others, so I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise for my partners. I would probably write about it with pictures after they have received them. I might not share this blog with anyone after all...it's definitely not as good as some of the blogs people have. Mine is just a diary of what I'm up to.
Go Green and Recycle swap:
My partner is a very different personality...different as in she is not the average person I usually meet in life. She has pythons as pets, she works as a makeup artist in the porn industry. I was kinda shocked when I first read her profile. But once I got to know her, it was so fun to craft things for her.
A week of onesies swap:
My partner has 2 boys, and the younger one is almost the same as my baby. I had so much fun embellishing the onesies for her son. I had no idea what was in-style for boys these days, but I did some looking around and I did come up with some creative designs. I hope she likes them. I'm almost done with the onesies...I am now working on some small extras for the 2 kids.
The Happy Homemaker swap
My partner is a busy lady with 2 kids and is going back to school soon. I have a ton of ideas on what to make for her. I already started on something that I have been wanting for myself for sometime. I squealed with delight when I saw this item on her list of things she wants. It's a reusable swiffer cover. I crocheted it and it was so easy and quick! I'm definitely going to make some for myself.
First swap on Craftster
I learnt many new ways of crafting. I learnt to do the brick stitch to make this colorful bracelet.
I also learnt to make magnets out of clear marbles. (My partner loves Hello Kitty)
Other stuff I made for this swap:
Crocheted purse
Necklace and earring set
Hello Kitty Pinchusion
More photos of the stuff I sent (just because I like the photos :) )
And I got some awesome stuff from my partner too!
This cool bag:
Travel pillow with my name emroidered on it
T-shirt with my name stenciled
New love - sewing!
Here's my very first project, a top for my little girl:
It turned out so pretty, I'm so proud of it!
Top and pants:
Pajama pants:
Bag out of an old pair of jeans:
My not-so-good items:
Top where the sleeve ribbons are totally off
Skirt that fits fine but looks boring
Dress that doesn't fit at all, it hangs on her with huge armholes. It doesn't show in the pic.
Past
I taught myself to make some jewellery:
Learning to make jewellery led me to Crafter, which made me curious about all the other forms of crafting there is on this planet. And I tried some new things that I'd never done before.
That is how I got interested with learning to sew.
I got myself a sewing machine off of craigslist.

I'm back!
Looking at the date of my last post shows how much of a hiatus I've been on! I'm back to blogging to record all the latest stuff I've been up to, including some new things I'm learning! I'm excited about my new-found creativity. Crafting is definitely a good therapy.
I've lots of updates to post. Hopefully I can get them done in the next post(s).

Another package!
She sent me a huge box of divine stuff! Look at the pillow she crocheted! It's awesome! And fits perfectly with my bedroom decor!
